Γιατί οι εκλογές είναι κυρίως εθνικές.

 

Μετά το βίωμα τεσσάρων (4) χρόνων κρίσης και μνημονίων, με μια καθημερινότητα που σκληραίνει και δυσκολεύει συνεχώς, η επιλογή του κάθε ψηφοφόρου σ’ αυτές τις εκλογές, τόσο στην Περιφέρεια και στους Δήμους όσο και στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο, είναι πολύ πιο κρίσιμη. Η ψήφος του στις αυτοδιοικητικές εκλογές έχει και άλλα (πολιτικά, οικονομικά και κοινωνικά) υπερτοπικά χαρακτηριστικά, αλλά ταυτόχρονα, η επιλογή του είναι πολύ πιο εύκολη, σε σχέση με προηγούμενες αναμετρήσεις. Επειδή το πολιτικό τοπίο σήμερα, μετά από την -και τυπική- ομογενοποίηση των πολιτικών των δύο «αντιπάλων» της μεταπολίτευσης, είναι πολύ πιο καθαρό. Και εξίσου καθαρό είναι και το πολιτικό διακύβευμα.

 

Οι Έλληνες και οι Ελληνίδες καλούνται να επιλέξουν μεταξύ:

Εκείνων των υποψηφίων που εκφράζουν τα συμφέροντα των «πάνω», δηλαδή των εγχώριων και ξένων μεγαλοεπιχειρηματιών, που θησαυρίζουν σε βάρος της Ελλάδας και του λαού της και εκείνων που εκφράζουν το λαό και το δικαίωμα όλων μας να ζούμε με αξιοπρέπεια, σε μία κοινωνία ισότητας και δικαιοσύνης.

 

Εμείς καλούμε τους συμπολίτες μας και τις δύο Κυριακές του Μαΐου:

 Να δώσουν μαζικά το παρών και να στείλουν με την ψήφο τους, πρωτίστως, ένα ηχηρό μήνυμα στην κυβέρνηση.

 Να δηλώσουν την βαθιά αντίθεσή τους στην πολιτική που αυτή χαράζει, σε αγαστή συνεργασία με τους ξένους δανειστές και την τρόικα και εφαρμόζει, σε επίσης αγαστή συνεργασία με τους όψιμα «ανεξάρτητους», «αυτοδιοικητικούς» υποστηρικτές και συμπαραστάτες της.

 Να καταδικάσουν την απάνθρωπη πολιτική, που, απ’ τη μια, τσακίζει τους εργαζόμενους, τους αγρότες, τους κτηνοτρόφους, τους συνταξιούχους και τους νέους, ενώ, απ’ την άλλη, στηρίζει την όλο και μεγαλύτερη κερδοφορία μιας ελάχιστης μειονότητας εγχώριων και μη οικονομικών συμφερόντων.

 Να εκφράσουν την έντονη δυσαρέσκειά τους σ’ αυτούς, που επιτίθενται βίαια στα εργασιακά δικαιώματα και το κοινωνικό κράτος, αποδομούν, αποδυναμώνουν και χρησιμοποιούν τους θεσμούς της δημοκρατικής Περιφερειακής και Τοπικής Αυτοδιοίκησης.

 Να ρίξουν στις κάλπες τρία αποφασιστικά «φτάνει πια» στην άγρια λιτότητα, που προέκριναν ως λύση για έξοδο απ’ την κρίση οι σχεδιαστές, οι υποστηρικτές, οι οπαδοί και οι εκφραστές της νεοφιλελεύθερης πολιτικής, πολιτικής που σχηματοποιήθηκε και

εξειδικεύθηκε στα κείμενα των μνημονίων.

 

Οι Πολίτες, γυναίκες και άνδρες, θα κληθούν να εκλέξουν Περιφερειάρχες, Δημάρχους και Ευρωβουλευτές, που:

 Είτε ταυτίζονται με ένα κοινωνικό πρότυπο το οποίο παραπέμπει σε ένα τεράστιο στρατόπεδο εργασίας, σ’ ένα ναζιστικό Μπούχενβαλντ καταναγκαστικής εργασίας, όπου οι εργαζόμενοι δεν θα έχουν ούτε καν τα δικαιώματα των σκλάβων του μεσαίωνα, είτε αγωνίζονται για μία κοινωνία όπου η ανάπτυξη θα είναι στην υπηρεσία όλων των ανθρώπων, όπου η ανταγωνιστικότητα και το κέρδος δεν θα αλέθει τις ζωές των εργαζομένων, αλλά μέσα από θεσμούς κοινωνικής οικονομίας, όπως είναι οι ελεύθερα συνεταιρισμένοι παραγωγοί, θα παλεύουν για μία κοινωνία αλληλεγγύης και συνοχής, για μια κοινωνία όπου τα όνειρα των νέων θα ανθίζουν και οι ηλικιωμένοι θα ζουν με αξιοπρέπεια και τιμή.

 

Στην πραγματικότητα, όμως, είναι απολύτως βέβαιο πως μετά τις εκλογές έρχονται νέα σκληρά μέτρα, νέες μειώσεις στις συντάξεις, νέα συρρίκνωση των ασφαλιστικών ταμείων, απελευθέρωση των ομαδικών απολύσεων, καινούργιες ελαφρύνσεις για τους μεγαλοεργοδότες, νέα φορολογική λαίλαπα και βάρη για τους εργαζόμενους, την ίδια στιγμή που οι τράπεζες, τις οποίες χρυσοπλήρωσε ο ελληνικός λαός, επαναιδιωτικοποιούνται.

Γι’ αυτό καλούμε τους συμπολίτες μας να μη νομιμοποιήσουν με την ψήφο τους τη νέα διαπλοκή που διαμορφώνεται.

Για να ανατραπούν οι σχεδιασμοί τους, για να ανατραπεί το καθεστώς των τοκογλύφων του χρηματοπιστωτικού κεφαλαίου και να αλλάξει, συνεπώς, ο κόσμος, απαιτείται η πολιτική συμμαχία όλων των δυνάμεων της πραγματικής οικονομίας, που εμφορούνται από τις αρχές της κοινωνικής δικαιοσύνης, του σεβασμού στη φύση και στην ανθρώπινη ύπαρξη, που διέπονται από την κουλτούρα της αδελφοσύνης και της αλληλεγγύης, από την κουλτούρα των αμεσοδημοκρατικών θεσμών και διαδικασιών. Όλων των δυνάμεων που πιστεύουν πως η οικονομία πρέπει να υπηρετεί την κοινωνία και όχι η κοινωνία την οικονομία.

Οι πολίτες της δυτικής Ελλάδας καλούνται να στηρίξουν:

 την αντίληψη που θέλει τον άνθρωπο να συν-πάσχει με τους ανθρώπους που υποφέρουν, ανεξάρτητα από φυλετική ή άλλη προέλευση. Που θέλει μία Περιφερειακή διοίκηση που τους επιστρέφει την αξιοπρέπειά τους μέσα από την αξιοποίηση δικτύων κοινωνικής αλληλεγγύης (κοινωνική πολιτική στέγης, τροφής κ.ά.) αλλά, κυρίως, με την αντιμετώπιση της ανεργίας και της φτώχειας μέσα από την ενίσχυση της κοινωνικής (συνεταιριστικής) οικονομίας και των συμμετοχικών θεσμών τοπικής δράσης.

 

Ο δικός μας στόχος είναι να γίνει η δυτική Ελλάδα χώρος ανάπτυξης και ζωής για όλους τους κατοίκους της.

Κι αυτό το στοίχημα έχει ως προϋπόθεση την συμμετοχή όλων όσοι ζουν και εργάζονται εδώ, όσο περισσότερων πολιτών, φορέων και συλλογικοτήτων στοιχίζονται στις γραμμές του αγώνα επιβίωσης που δίνουμε κόντρα στα παγιωμένα κατεστημένα συμφέροντα, κόντρα σ’ αυτούς που αντιμετωπίζουν λογιστικά την κοινωνία και επιδιώκουν να μην αλλάξει τίποτε, εκτός από την αύξηση των κερδών τους.

Στις επιδιώξεις τους προτάσσουμε τη δική μας αντίσταση για

 να ανατρέψουμε τα σχέδιά τους,

 να βάλουμε τέλος στο τέλμα,

 να κάνουμε μια νέα αρχή,

 να ανακτήσουμε τα όνειρα, την ελπίδα και την αξιοπρέπεια μας,

 να κάνουμε τον τόπο μας τόπο της ανθρωπιάς, της δημιουργίας και της ανάπτυξης.
